Most mornings I am greeted with a hug and a kiss from Gracie. She tells me she loves me and then says, "You're my best Mommy in the whole wide world. Daddy's my best Daddy in the whole wide world. Haylee's my best sissy in the whole wide world. And Sugar is the best Sugar dog in the whole wide world." Occasionally she'll throw her Uncle Donny in there.
Who wouldn't like to be greeted like that almost every morning?!?!?! It's pure sweetness and it puts a smile on my face for sure!
Some mornings, however, she'll wake-up and her best sissy is already out of bed. (They sleep together.) That does not sit well with her. So, depending on her mood, she'll either scream and cry, "MOOOMMMMMYYYYYY!!! COME GET ME!!!!!!!!!!" or she'll jump out of bed on her own and come looking for us. Then she'll start asking where everyone is. And why her best sissy got out of bed without her.
Not sure what this morning will bring for my sweet little Gracie. She's still sleeping. But however she wakes-up, I'll be sure to give her a big hug and kiss.
