Haylee on Stage at Sparks!

OK. First let me explain. Every Friday at Haylee's school all of the students and faculty gather together for an assembly to celebrate birthdays and awards, sing songs and talk about the 3 R's . . . Respect, Responsible and Ready to Learn. Well, today Haylee got to be on stage! The counselor, Mrs. Salmon, even gave her the microphone to say "Ready to Learn!"

It's hard to see Little Miss since the pictures are so dark. But, she's in the front wearing her Texas cheerleading outfit . . . Today was "Team Spirit Day," so Haylee, of course, wanted to wear the best stuff (hence the UT stuff!!).

Sweet, Sweet Cousins

Getting two toddlers to smile at the same time or even staying still for a picture is hard work! However, Gracie and Ella (Gracie's cousin) still look adorable in every picture!! We just got out of story time so they were ready to run around!

What's going on here? Shouldn't Gracie be in the stroller and Haylee, the BIG 5 YEAR OLD, be walking? Not today!


Gracie pushed her baby in her stroller the whole walk to get Haylee from school and the way back. What a big girl!!

Waking Up!

Isn't it lovely to be trapped in a crib when you really, really want to get out?!?!?!

Much better now. Out of the crib and with Mama! Still not ready to smile though!

Costume Preview

The girls played dress-up with their Halloween costumes. Haylee also has a butterfly costume and is having a hard time deciding on which one to wear. Gracie loves her 'fairy princess' costume. Last year Gracie just sat in her stroller when it came to trick-or-treating time, but this year, she'll probably be the first one at the door. Her favorite word lately is, "Cany!!" which translate into CANDY!!
