July 4th

I'm not sure what has happened with me and this blog thing. At first, I was posting daily, then a few times a week and now it seems like once a month (or even that!). Anyway, I got an email from my good friend Casey, and she was commenting on what a good job I was doing on my blog--So, to my smart a*@ friend, here's some updated pictures! I totally understand though. I look at her blog, along with other friends, almost daily. To keep in touch, to see their kids, etc. When there's not a new post, it almost saddens me!

These pictures are from 4th of July. Seems like so long ago. Then again, it was over 3 months ago!

The morning of the 4th, we went to the Plano Parade. It's a family tradition. I went there as a kid, Bryan went as a kid, Haylee's been since she was in my belly and same with Gracie. Such a fun parade! Extremely hot but it's a neat experience.

The girls: Sophie, Haylee (wishing I would have told her to cross her legs!), Grace and Gracie

The fam. Yes, that is a red, white and blue lei around my neck! I'm very festive!

The Sullingers. See, Kristin is festive, too! It's the 'in' thing to do!

My sweet looking husband and his dad, Sonny or PaPa

Love this picture. And love the response from the crowd! People standing and clapping and showing their appreciation!

This is one of my favorites! They both look so adorable!

Wave those flags, girls!

Pam or MeMe (Bryan's mom) with Kristin's mom (Nana)

Gary with sweet Ella

Check out this bike! Hey Ash, you guys would only have to add a few more seats, and then you could take the whole fam out on ONE bike! Ha!

This picture shows how hot it was! Poor Haylee is trying to shade herself!

Santa in July!

So, then the day went on. We had my sister and her fam over, my mom and dad, the Sullingers and Billy. Had a ton of fun. Ate dinner, had some drinks and watched fireworks in the neighborhood. I didn't take any pictures until the very end of the night. And even then I didn't get very many because my camera died! The kids did poppers and sparklers.

Gracie with her usual attitude stance! I'm glad I have proof now! She'll love this when she's older!

Sarah, Rhea and Dalton

Haylee with her sparkler. Those things are not all they're cracked up to be! Or maybe it was just that they were a couple of years old. I tend to put things up and then forget about them, but I remembered them this year! That should count for something, right? They shot sparks off everywhere and then went out so fast.

Kaboom Town

Yes, these pictures are from July 3rd! Yes, I'm super late on posting these! Yes, I would love to be better about posting! But sadly, no, I will probably not!

We've been going to Kaboom Town before Gracie was even born. We usually attend with my sister and her family and occasionally my parents, but this year we met up with the Sullinger family! We had silly string, glow sticks and pop-its for the kids and adult beverages for us! What more could you ask for?

Mr. Gary handing out the pop-its. Love how both of my children have their hand held out, like, gimmee, gimmee! I thought I taught them better than that!

Haylee with one of her best buds, Sophie

The girls--Haylee, Sophie, Ella, Gracie and Gracie

Sweet Ella blowing bubbles. Oh, yes, forgot that we had bubbles. Those things can even entertain the older kiddos!

Gracie looking up at the sky in amazement. You would think that the child had never seen a plane before! Da plane! Da plane!

My hunky husband and I. Love you, Babe!

Kristin and I. Love you, too, Kristin! ;)

Kristin, Nana#2 and myself. We had fun this night!

Kristin and Gary. What a cute couple!

How could you ever get mad at this sweet little face?!?!? I could NEVER!!

This one either!

And, since this one is mine, and even though she is absolutely precious, I do have to admit that I get mad at her. But not for very long!

The glow-stick-angels, Haylee and Gracie

The boys watching the children very closely, as always!

After hours of play, the fireworks finally begin! What a beautiful display! And well worth the wait AND the almost hour long drive home!

Ella and Kristin loving the fireworks show. And in the background, what Bryan does best. Just kidding!

uuuwwww, aaahhhhh, clapping, uuuwwww, aaaahhhhh, clapping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Copeland/Rand Band

After dressing up and putting on some make-up, the girls put on a show for us. Super cute kids!

Movie Night at the Square

Over the summer, the Square put on family movies on Saturday evenings. We went to a couple of shows and it was fun! Here we are with some of our best buddies, the Sullingers!

The boys and Kristin with the kids.

Who's brilliant idea was it that came up with glow necklaces, bracelets, glow sticks or whatever else that glows in a tube? Brilliant! Give those to kids and they're entertained for awhile!! Here's Gracie, Sophie and Haylee with their glow necklaces.

And, my Gracie.

Gary and Kristin

Lunch

Showing off some muscles at lunch. Don't we all do that?!?!?

Decopauge

I'm way behind in posting! Haylee got new bedding for her birthday in JULY. It's hot pink, black and white--zebra print. Haylee and I made a canvas for her room. It was a lot of fun and Haylee's proud of her artwork in her room!

Sweet Sisters

This is how our girls fall asleep every night, hand in hand! It makes me so happy that Haylee and Gracie are such good friends!
