Splash Day!

Splash day or "splashing day" as Gracie called it, was last week at her preschool. Lots of fun water activities to play with outside! They were all so excited. The little things in life . . .

School Carnival

Haylee's school had a carnival and silent auction a couple of weeks ago. It was a lot of fun!

Here are the girls just before leaving. They're getting their 'groove' on!

Cake Walk--a must have at a carnival! This is how sweet Haylee is to her sister--They had to wait forever to get a spot at the game, and then when it was their turn, there wasn't a seat for Gracie. Haylee grabbed her sister and put her on her lap!

Haylee about to ring the bell on the rock wall. She loves this thing!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day we went to the Arboretum along with my parents. Apparently, MANY other people had the same idea as us! We had to park a couple of miles away and walk to the entrance. Luckily, it was a very pretty walk~along White Rock Lake. Anyway, the Arboretum was gorgeous and the weather was beautiful! We decided to make this an annual Mother's Day thing.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there! And, especially to mine--Happy Mother's Day, Mom! I love you so much and I'm so thankful for our relationship!

The girls fell asleep on the way there. I could only get a shot of Haylee. She looks so peaceful!

In the little church~this was the end of the pictures. My camera died!

Swimming at Kelly's

The girls and I went swimming at a friend's house last weekend. We had a great time! Thanks, Kelly! :)

Assembly

Every Friday there's an assembly at Haylee's school. Gracie and I go for the most part--I think we've missed one or two this year. Here are the little ones playing during the assembly. All of these kids but one will start Kinder together. That's so neat!

Camden and Gracie

I had to post this picture of Camden and Gracie~such a cute picture of them together! They truly are sweet together.

Haylee's Recital

Haylee had her dance recital a couple of weeks ago. She takes ballet and tap, but they only did a tap routine for the recital. Haylee loves to be up on stage! They all did a wonderful job! I didn't get any good pictures during the recital because there was no flash photography allowed. So, all of my pictures turned out blurry and dark. :(

Here's Haylee with Lydia at the rehearsal.

Their costumes were so cute! Love it from the back!

And, the night of the recital~a picture before heading out.

Spring Sing

Gracie's school had a Spring Sing last week. They sang a few songs for the parents, we had cookies and juice and then we got to stay for chapel. Gracie had so much fun singing and doing the hand motions! I'm so proud of my baby--when she started school she was so shy and would hardly talk to anybody. Today she is hardly shy and very friendly! I'm so thankful for preschool! :)

Gracie getting ready to sing. She was so proud to sing for her mommy! Daddy was out of town, so he couldn't make it.
